Ginger Biscuits Recipe

This ginger biscuits recipe has good childhood memories. I remember when I was little. My brother and I were raised by a single mother. There were times when my mother would drop us off at my gran, where would spend most of our school holidays.

I have learned two very important things during this time at my gran. One is called discipline, and the other is called ginger biscuits. The two things are related. If you steel the ginger biscuits from the cookie jar, you learned discipline. As simple as that.

The thing is, these ginger biscuits are irresistible and if a kid knows where it is hidden, he will take chances. The hiding I got as a kid was worth the risk. I am only too sad that I never had the opportunity to ask my gran for her ginger biscuits recipe. But I may have found an even better one the one I am sharing here.

What I love about The Cooking Cat is they give everyone from around the world a chance to express their joy in cooking. I live in South Africa and am only too happy to share this ginger biscuit recipe South Africa style.
